The Samaritan Health Center needs your help...
Donate
We are currently seeking donations of ...
- medical equipment
- dental equipment
- cash donations to fund the purchase of important medical equipment needed for high quality care
Monthly Gifts
The best way to give monthly electronically is to schedule an online repeating payment through your bank. Simply give your bank our name (Samaritan Health Center, Inc.) and mailing address (507 E. Knox St., Attn: Chris Garrett, Durham NC 27701) and they will issue to Samaritan Health Center a “recurring check” that is sent out automatically at the same time each month. This is very easy to set up and does not include any service charges.

Why Volunteer at a Free Clinic?
Free clinics are community based or faith-based organiztions that provide a friendly and hassle-free environment to practice medicine, interact with colleagues and make a difference in your community. Staffed by both active and retired healthcare professionals, they are in many respects ideal for retired clinicians wishing to stay engaged. Chronic diseases like diabetes, arthritis, cardiovascular disease and hypertension are common. Staffed entirely by volunteers, everyone is there for the same reason - to provide good quality care in a practical manner to needy and appreciative patients. Volunteers are invited to practice as often as they feel comfortable. Many choose to volunteer once a month, but clinics are grateful for whatever frequency and duration clinicians wish to volunteer.
