 Medical Clinic We plan to initially serve residents and former residents of the Durham Rescue Mission and Good Samaritan Inn who lack a stable source of primary medical care or adequate health insurance, supplementing the holistic care already provided at the Durham Rescue Mission.

| LATEST NEWS - Friday, September 26, 2008* Chris Garrett has been hired as our full time Executive Director to lead the development of the SHC.
* Blueprints for the renovations are in the final approval process, and we hope to begin construction in October. Goal is to have the clinic open by November.
* 501(c)3 papers have been submitted and we await a ruling from the IRS as to our tax exempt status.
* We are making application to join the NC Association of Free Clinics which has over 80 other free clinics operating throughout North Carolina. They will be tremendous source of professional connections and some start-up capital.
